Thanks for the suggestions so far - I think soup would be awesome but my flatmates are for something more substantial so I might do a stew instead.

I realise I'm casting a wide net here, but where I'm from, rice is the staple of the dinner table. And lunch, for that matter.

I'm going to try making some dinner rolls but would like some suggestions on what to eat them with! I know they sop up sauces well, etc, but it'd be nice to hear what you eaters out there like to have them with. Please and thank you! : )
