My family's from Hunan, the arguably spiciest province in China. My mom add some peppers or chili sauce to every recipe. Every one. She even added chopped jalapenos to a "light" okra soup once - and it turned out delicious (to my taste buds, at least)!

Crab cakes and "kid dynamite" (crab-topped mahi mahi) at Oceanaire in San Diego. That was some good seafood.
