Purple cauliflower?
I love cauliflower, but this the first time I've picked up the purple variety at the store. Any ideas on how to cook it? Can it be treated the same way as regular cauliflower?

stir fry, with whatever flavor combo enters my head at the moment. its always fast and easy and can go so many different directions.
my favorite is tofu with caramelized onions, zucchini and mushrooms, with soy sauce, ginger, lime juice, a ton of garlic and tahini - which makes it rich and creamy and flavorful.

I love mayo on veggies - artichokes, asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli... and definitely those tomato sandwiches!

Since the kids have left the nest, I never have anyone to eat with anymore. I am embarrassed to say it's usually the mayonnaise and banana sandwich or a baked potato for me. I need some new ideas. lol

The dish of choice would have to be baby spinach, bibb lettuce, portabello mushrooms, sliced Vidalia white onions, toasted almonds in a Balsamic vinegar and olive oil vinaigrette.
