Weekend Poll: Do You Prefer Regular or Diet Soda?
I loves me some Diet Pepsi but Diet Coke from McDonald's is the greatest substance on the earth. It helps out any hangover I have. I got used to diet in HS and can't go back. The real stuff is too thick and sugary for me. I don't drink coffee so I like to say that my DP is my caffiene fix except I try to drink caffiene free most of the time. I'm really just a fan of the carbonation (that's what I crave most) and think the bubbles wake me up instead.
Slice Poll: How Do You Reheat Your Leftover Pizza?
If I'm starving, it's straight to the microwave to warm up and then a bunch of parmesan to add more cheesiness.
Otherwise, I'm a fan of the convection toaster oven. If it's really thick, I'll nuke it a little to get the chill off so that it'll cook faster in the oven. But I like how it crisps back up to almost as good as it was originally. And then of course, parm b/c I can't get enough of that stuff!

I was going to say something along the lines of waht sally599 said. I guess the only problem would be if you wanted to grill them at home but even then you can just throw a hot dog or something on the grill.

My boyfriend doesn't like cheese. I come from the mindset that there is no such thing as too much cheese. Luckily, he will eat pizza and doesn't throw a huge fit when I cook Italian with a little cheese. Don't even think of asking him to eat yellow cheese. But I honestly thought twice about this when we first started dating. As he has admitted that his aversion is purely mental, I've vowed to convert him before we leave this earth. I've started slowly and so far, I've seen some improvement. I'm so proud. :)

I always string it. The only time I don't is when I mistakenly bought the mozzerella/cheddar combo. Somehow it tastes better just eating it rather than stringing it. I don't understand why.

I thought Marcus was kinda the jerk on the show. David did actually help out in the end and helped cook the yucca. True, it ended up burnt but Marcus was the one always talking about how he would never help out.

Tons of PARMESAN! I go a little psycho with it when I can. But that's how I am with parmesan on just about anything. I'm not above unscrewing the top off the shaker.
Chain Burger Brackets: Steak 'n Shake vs. Five Guys
In-N-Out's fries are like cardboard! Thank you! But their burgers are tasty. Five Guys fries are delicious but their burgers have no flavor. Maybe we should combine the two and make a decent place.
Grocery Self-Checkout Lanes: Way or No Way?
As a former employee of a grocery store in my youth, I love this option b/c I don't like how some people bag groceries today. I'm picky and want it done my way. This way, my chicken doesn't get placed on top of the bread and next to my toilet cleaner. However, I don't go through the line with a giant cart. That's more trouble than it's worth.
How to Salt Food
Omnom - I think the point of it all is that salt brings out the natural flavors of the food you're cooking. So in essence you still are tasting the food but salt makes it the best version of itself. You should never taste the actual salt in the dish. If you do, you've definitely oversalted. However, I can understand your point of trying a recipe as is the first time as long as you make mental notes of how to improve it next time.
