Mixed Review: No Pudge! Brownies
I water the batter with a little non fat milk and bake the brownies in a loaf pan for the same cooking time. The brownies come out extra fudgy due to the pan size and extra yummy!

If you are stopping in Arcata right on the 101, you must go to:
Los Bagels - the best bagel on the West coast and and lots of yummy baked goods. Try the corn lime cookie!
Arcata Pizza & Deli - amazing pizza and hot/cold sandwiches served sizes appropriate for all the happy hippies around. Amazingly fresh food and great beer.
Larrupin's Cafe - a romantic, lovely restaurant north of Arcata in Trinidad, this is a local favorite with their locally praised Larrupin's sauce. Its incredible on a Los Bagel's bagel with cc, lox, tomato, and red onion. My mother sends bottles of the sauce across the country to me.
