Top 10 ingredients I will never have in my kitchen
Here are some things that I don't want in my kitchen but unfortunately can be found in this space since I share it with my husband:
Jarred garlic (for real? How hard is it to chop fresh garlic?)
American cheese slices (they taste like wax. Actually, wax might taste better.)
Jello (I can't believe I actually used to like that stuff! My husband keeps it around for nosebleeds)
Refried beans (no taste, no point)
Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce (too sweet, no tomato flavor)
Entenmann's Chocolate Iced Donuts, Twinkies, SnoBalls, HoHos, and anything else that's dyed sugar in plastic (isn't your palate supposed to get more refined as you age?)
That stupid pre-cooked "grilled" chicken with those caramel grill lines pressed on (if you can't grill chicken yourself, why bother?)

Yeah I was surprised about jello having such properties, but my husband swears by it. Then again, maybe he's making it up so that I don't throw it out in disgust...
