For lobster rolls and fish and chips - sir crickets in Orleans on Rte 6A is the best. I second the bistro at Chillingsworth. Also Wicked Oyster in Wellfleet is very good and you can eat at the bar.
I've been twice and loved it both times. Favs include: fiddleheads, snap pea salad, scallop ceviche. I have heard the clam pizza is amazing, but can't vouch for it. Don't miss the salted carmel ice cream sundae. You'll dream about it.
you can rent the whole san marzano pizzeria in the LES. I had a party there for 35 and it was perfect. Also, Beppe has a private room.
thermals tend to leak. The delonghi's vary a lot by model. For straight up drip, go with a cuisinart grind n brew. For capsule coffe, keurig b70 can't be beat.
I'd suggest Hook in Georgetown for some adult seafood. If you're adventuroud and mobile I'd go to Baltimore for crabs. Try Obryckis.
kind of doomed, but ususally the Le Pain Quotidien spots are good about such things
I know Little Giant is controversial to some, but I was there Saturday and was most impressed. I love Casa Mono for the intimacy and the interesting food.
I'd try the private table at Blue Ribbon Bakery. Diverse menu, good atmosphere. Also, Lupa does a nice job with a large group and will print special menus etc.
we're staying at The Thunderbird. It came recommended, but who knows?? thanks for the tips everyone!
