New Jersey's Santillo's Serves a Timeline of Pizza History

I grew up in Elizabeth and Santillo's pizzas are incredible. The sicilian pizza is a particular favorite. I've moved out of the area but still drive back for Al's pizzas and stuffed breads. He's the last of the old school bakers...you can't find the care he takes and quality anywhere else.

I grew up in Elizabeth enjoying Santillo's pizzas and stuffed breads and now still live close enough to drive up to Santillo's. Al is the last of the real craftsmen around making pizzas and bread. He really cares about what he makes and the pizzas are second to none. I'm glad he's getting some public recognition after all these years.

My god that brought back horrible memories from Finland. When I was there, my friends went nuts for salmiakki. I almost puked after downing a shot of it. I wasn't expecting it to taste like somone accidentally dumped a carton of salt into a bottle of black sambucca. Truly awful stuff.
