Taste Test: Ginger Ale

So glad to see Vernor's on top! When I moved from Michigan to Denver I missed it so much. I can occasionally find it now, but it always tastes like summers on the beach to me.

Hot Dog of the Week: Yesterdog in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Thanks for finally covering Yesterdog! I grew up in GR and miss it all the time - there's nothing else like it after a night at the bars. I have to agree with yesthamatthewabel on Fat Boy and Cottage Bar as great burger joints :)

my favorite was always my mom's butterscotch cake. it was just a yellow cake mix made with butterscotch pudding and topped with butterscotch chips and brown sugar instead of frosting. is there a recipe like that in the book? i haven't been able to have it since i've been gluten free!
