Creme Brulee Torch recommendations??
Any recommendations for a creme brulee torch? I'm not using it to make creme brulee but a cheese broccoli soup.
What brand do you like the best & where did you get it?
thanks!
Thanks for all the suggestion's...never would've thought of the hardware store or Autozone.
Went to BB&B today and saw they had a cheapie one for about $20. Glad I didn't buy it yet. It looked like it would fall apart after a few uses.
Arm1970 -- I love your suggestion, I think I'll buy one just to roast some peeps. Too bad I don't have any peeps left, guess I'll have to wait til next year!

dmarina, when you mentioned using a butane torch from the hardware store did you mean those ones that you use to set charcoal on fire in your grill?? I went to the hardware store today and the clerk showed me two different types, the one (butane) with the long silver handle (that lights the grill) and a propane kit that comes with two propane containers.
On the other hand I didn't see a BurnzOmatic, maybe I'll just go to another store.
thanks for all the advice!
