My name is Melissa-Rae. I'm an aspiring chef. I'm 18 years old and I've been cooking since I was 12. I recently graduated from GASC Technology center. At GASC I took their Culinary Essentials class. This fall I will be attending Culinary School. :)
I'm looking for any desserts really. I just want to widen my varieties. I like cheese cake, so I wouldn't mind trying it with the Tofutti cream cheese. If you have any more recipes you'd like to share, feel free.
I have never had sorbet, so I'm not quite sure what it is. I will, however, look up a recipe and try it out. As for tofu, I'm not sure of what that tastes like but I can surely try it to see whether I like it or not. As for the chocolate cake, who doesn't love a nice chocolate cake? In my culinary class, we actually made a lactose free chocolate cake. Instead of milk, we used mayonaise. It doesn't sound good what-so-ever, but it wasn't bad. Thank you all for your suggestions! Okay, So I am lactose Intollerant. Most desserts include some type of dairy product, from ice cream to just plain milk. I was wondering if anyone knew any recipes for desserts without dairy, other than your every day apple pie of course. Any suggestions?
