Quiznos vs. Subway: Toasted Sub Showdown
Between Quiznos and Subway I have to choose Subway. Other than the nostalgia factor I feel you get more bang for your buck at Subway.
The real head turner in the Sub market though is a chain based here in Florida called Firehouse subs. They do go a bit overboard with the whole 'Founded by hungry firemen so we're going to give you tons of meat' angle, but the subs are awesome. They use a slightly unorthodox method in that they run the bread through a toaster while the meat is steamed. So you get a perfectly toasted bun married directly to steaming hot meat. The sub is then topped with your veggies and served with a pickle.
It's my first choice for a chain sub any day of the week. They use really good ingredients which always goes a long way.

I often pour the whole bottle into a pitcher then I run all of the wine through the Vinturi back into the bottle for easier pouring and better presentation for my guests.
