Thai Pizza Co in St. Louis: Testing the Universality of Pizza

I love weird food combos, so when I saw this place when I visited my friend at WashU we had to go. I got the chicken satay with peanut sauce when I went and it was outstanding.

The best I have ever had is at J.R. Barton's in the neighborhood in Columbia, MO. It looks like its run out of someone's house and me and my friends have speculated that the area is a residential only zone but once the city officials tasted what was cooking they let it be. Everything I have eaten there has been unreal.

Popcorn: Do You Err on the Side of Unpopped or Burnt?

I have been making popcorn ever since I could reach the microwave. I always have cooked it a bit longer because it tastes better that way. I err on the side of burnt but I have never burned popcorn. Its got to be hard because there is a lot of leeway in the microwave. I would understand burning, say, a jiffy pop but a microwave bag? Thats just poor judgment

Cook the Book: 'Serious Barbecue' by Adam Perry Lang

Last year, I almost got kicked out of the dorms for a homemade smoker (cardboard box, hot plate, suspended some brisket above it) out in front of the dorm. I guess I was violating some "smoking rules". But with one taste of the end result, I did not care. I even impressed a friend from my floor who is from Dallas, I guess that has to count for something.
