Do you have food allergies?

I can't eat raw veggies from the brassica family, and I tend to get digestive issues when I consume dairy. Still do it though :p.

I love Trader Joes

I just spent the last twenty minutes using tweezers to remove feathers and their quills from a split turkey breast from Trader Joe's. >:( So gross.

Aside from this, I love their pound plus dark chocolate and their cheese selection. The traditional french brie is really foul smelling but delicious.

I'm also on the paleo diet, but I don't eat any carbs (except for those in greens and nuts) after reading Dr. Bernstein's "The Diabetes Solution." Tonight I'm having roasted rosemary turkey breast & zucchini.

What food smell do you hate?

not rotten, but my boyfriend makes hardboiled eggs every morning and cooks them until they develop that green, sulfurous ring. we share a studio apartment, so it smells like sulfur for hours :/.

I ate a bunch of gummy bears and got car sick as a kid; the scent of, even thought of eating, gummy bears still makes me queasy 17 years later.

Ideal PB&J Anatomy

What kind of nut butter do you use? What's your favorite jelly accompaniment? Which do you spread on first? White sandwich or fancy bread? My ideal pb&j has a healthy smear of Peanut Butter & Co.'s White Chocolate wonderful, a heaping dollop of Trader Joe's low-sugar blueberry preserves, and a sprinkle of sea salt on thinly-sliced, toasted Italian bread. Jelly is always first!

frozen goat cheese "ice cream?"

I've frozen dollops of Fage 2% Greek yogurt and processed them to make relatively inexpensive and and healthier frozen yogurt. Has anyone had experience doing this with goat cheese to make a quick ice cream? I want to turn my favorite snack into an icy dessert: goat cheese & quince paste. I don't own an ice cream machine, and my kitchen is extremely tiny, so I don't want to buy another appliance.
