Mae Ploy next?
A couple of comments I wanna share:
I raise a small flock of egg laying chickens, so watching the portlandia video had me just lmao!
Ran out of Mae Ploy this morning, I always use it on my scrambled eggs instead of catsup. Will have to make a run for it this weekend. The recipe looks wonderful and I want to try it out.
Just about any way I can get it! ;-)
Geez, so many to chose from...if I am buying my answer is Hotel or NY Strip. If it is the green of another footing the bill, Filet Mignon baby!
Rye or second choice wheat...ham, cheese, lettuce, Miracle Whip, pepperocini pepper rings, slivered onion and sliced black olives; just depends on what is in the fridge.
I have tried several Indian and Thai dishes that had coconut milk in them, it was the coconut smell and flavor that I could not take, basically it started my quest for a substitution. Loved the other elements, just trying to find a way around the coconut milk thing. Since it is such a large part of some dishes, I was hoping someone else shared my coconut milk aversion, and had formulated a solution other than don't partake of these recipes. ;-)
Looking for a decent, thin crust bread machine pizza dough recipe?
*hiding under my table, bracing for the comments the purists will certainly be hurling in my general direction*
Have tried more recipes than I can count, but still, nothing decent from a bread machine. Come on, if they make it there must be a good pizza dough than can come from it? Right???
So if I have "digested" this post correctly...only sturdy greens and sturdy veggies to go with them are a safe bet for your method?
When it is off season outside for growing, I am such a sucker for all the tender things at the store...I end up buying too much and then it spoils before I can use it all. The only up side is that my layer hens love whatever treats I can throw their way, expensive treats they are!!!
Well, since I live in the middle of BFE, I guess I would have to say "Mi Casa" is my favorite BBQ joint. ;-P
Well, since I live in the middle of nowhere, I would say "Mi Casa" is my favorite BBQ joint. ;-P
I will toy with the different milk/cream/condensed milk suggestions, thanks very much.
I just had a brain drain...would pureed tofu be a good candidate as well? Should have a full mouth feel and be pretty thick...could be thinned if needed?
It is the taste and smell of coconut. Heck, even some of the tanning products with coconut in them make me nauseous...that is so sad.
Apron, you betcha! Full frontal, utilitarian with pockets, butcher/deli style aprons...nothing girlie or cute. The material has to be tough since I use them for both outside grill/smoker/turkey fryer duty as well as normal kitchen work; cotton duck, denim, or the like. June Cleaver I am not...LOL
What would this turn out like if I used 4 cups of broth, drained and processed the chickpeas before adding to the soup and then omit the pasta? Any suggestions? Sounds like it would work?
The smell of Grandpa's fresh, smoke cured, pepper crusted bacon wafting up the stairway on a crisp winter morning...ahhhhhhh!!!
