Milwaukee: Irish Pub Hospitality at Mulligan's
An Update: Just had the Pub burger w Irish cheddar, fried onions and mushrooms. No overcooked dry patty problem for me. Waitress,a very pleasant one at that, on ordering asked me "How do you want that cooked?" Medium rare please! It came out perfectly medium rare with a soft but sturdy enough bun to survive the M/R juices, onions and mushrooms. One of the best burgers I've had in a while. Fries, while frozen were hot and fresh and tasty.
Maybe they started asking cooking preferences after this review but you can get em how you want em!

Sunday Brunch: Asian Shrimp Toast
"What exactly makes this shrimp toast 'Asian' ?"
At many Chinese restaurants that I have eaten, maybe more so years ago, one the appetizers I always enjoyed was, oddly enough, "Shrimp Toasts" usually cut into quarters (triangles). I always wondered how they did it. Now I and you do!
