Huarache Glory at Huaraches Dona Chio in Chicago

Oh my God....I love the flavor of the masa...and topped with all the other things...ohhhhh. I make an old favorite called Tamale Pie that satisfies those corny cravings for me. Methinks it's time for me to make it again!

Quote: "The huarache, sort of like a Mexican version of pizza, ..." At least the Mexicans have enough creativity to give their dish an original name — unlike that other abomination found in Chicago, so-called deep-dish "pizza." If that non-Italian (and, therefore, interloper in the pizza business) named Ike had had the decency to call his creation "deep-dish tomato, cheese, and bread casserole," there would be no problem. But to call it pizza is an insult to real Neapolitan pizza.

I've only been to the Maxwell Street Market once but I recall a sea of food vendors and I remember seeing huaraches there for the first time. I was already too stuffed to try one. Aren't there several that serve huaraches? Which one should I look for?
