I tried making whoopie pies recently and needed to use Karo corn syrup for the filling....so I heated the Karo...and then let it sit for a few minutes too long. My spoon was completely stuck in the pot, the corn syrup was basically like plastic. Luckily, soaking it for a bit dissolved all of the hardened corn syrup but I will not be cooking with it again!

he absolutely stole the pea puree. I can't believe no one called him out on it. I would have said it straight to the judges if it were me. I am mad and it didn't even happen to me!

I think I'm a food lover. I will eat anything. However, I do think I am a "tomato sauce snob" because I refuse to have jarred pasta sauce. I have been eating homemade since I was born, nothing compares! If that's what other people eat, I don't hate, but it's just not for me.

Cheezits and Smart Food
Mac and Cheese is a given....there's definitely only one serving in that box and that one serving is for ME

1. lip smacking, finger licking, soup slurping
2. people who won't just TRY something. You're not going to die (unless you have an allergy). Just TRY it and if you don't like it, spit it out!
3. dry chicken, overcooked meat
4. when someone cooking takes a taste of what they are making and puts the spoon back into the pot. GERMS.

Reading Terminal Market - DiNic's.........you will NOT be disappointed. Better than any cheesesteak you will have. Roast pork, broccoli rabe and provolone on a hoagie roll, so amazing.

I like mine with sauerkraut and a little mustard. But sometimes just ketchup, mustard and relish are enough. And if I'm making it at home, I might add a slice of cheese on there for good luck.
