Lobster Shortage Drives Prices Osprey-High
Being a lobsterman I know the current price just passed the 1982 price per pound. So in reality a inflation adjusted price per pound would probably be about $70 per pound. Do you know what it is like to have the price double to only be what the high was 25 years ago? Think about it as in your income. How would you like to have your last years income double to be what you made 25 years ago. We won't even take into consideration that expenced have probably quadrupaled in that time. This prise is still low.

The price of lobster has just passed the high of 1982. Inflation adjusted , lobster is still extremely cheap.
