My favorite burger ever is from Green Gables in Lake Bloomington, IL. A double cheeseburger from the griddle with a side of cheese balls. Greasy, cheesy, and artery-clogging. YUM!

On the savory side, my comfort food would be cheeseburgers. On the sweeter side, it would have to be anything chocolate.

I love Robyn's cartoon! Kenji, I have to say that I'm inspired by these posts on the vegan experience. I would like to try something similar, but I'm not sure I'm disciplined enough. Maybe even trying it for a week would be worthwhile. Anyway, I've enjoyed reading about your journey so far!

I have a chef's knife that I think is Cuisinart that I like. It's still pretty sharp after a few years. I just keep thinking back about the knives my parents had. Can you imagine thinking that the only knives out there were the serrated ones in the knife block??
