French in a Flash: Simple Carrot Salad with Mustard and Walnuts

I love this in summer! Or any other season, actually. Carrots are a year-round thing for me. I sometimes like to toss this with shredded apple for extra sweetness. Yum.

Weekend Cook and Tell: Stone Fruit Fest

Cherry and chocolate chip muffins made with yogurt for 'healthness': http://limecake.net/2011/03/17/cherry-chocolate-chip-muffins/. Or with all the preserves you've been making with peaches, how about a grilled cheese sandwich made with oozing brie and peach preserves: http://limecake.net/2010/09/04/grilled-cheese-with-brie-peach-preserve-and-black-pepper/?

Bake the Book: 'Sugar Baby'

Definitely Som Tam (Thai green papaya salad)! Spicy, sour, sweet, savoury!

It isn't summer in Australia, but if it was, I'd be slow grilling some juicy beef short ribs!

My man! Granted, he only does scrambled eggs, but they are always creamy and perfectly scrambled!

Father's Day Book Giveaway: 'Eat Like a Man: The Only Cookbook a Man Will Ever Need'

Does it get any more manly than a big honkin' juicy steak?

Cook the Book: 'Food Trucks'

Boring and unexciting: pretzels and coffee from any random cart in NYC.

Japanese Snacks: Gummy Candies

Grape grape grape! Then again, I wouldn't ever turn down any flavour if offered to me! These are darned chewy delicious!

Cook the Book: 'Michael's Genuine Food'

Food cooked with love and with natural, local ingredients.

Cook the Book: 'Serve Yourself'

Considering I live alone, 90% of my meals are meals for one. My favourite is some hot, steamed rice, a soft poached egg and with either some kimchi or Japanese seaweed flakes. Simple, yet satisfying and delicious.
