So I come from a Sicilian Family whose tradition each Christmas eve is ONLY fish....seven fishes! I have taken on the responsibility of preparing everything this year for the first time! I am out of ideas. I have the typical fried calamari, baked cod, octopus salad, linguine fra diavolo. Does anyone have any suggestions/traditions to share?!
So I never knew this existed until this morning at my local farmers market! I decided to get one and experiment because I absolutely love eggplant!!!
Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions?
Normally I will fry the eggplant, or make eggplant parmigiana... the list goes on!
So i purchased this cheese (irish stout), which is so yummy & has a bit of a beer taste to it. A little too strong to eat alone. there is an irish bar down the street from me and they have the best Guiness mac and cheese....SO i am thinking that would be something similar. I am not a huge mac and cheese person but think it would def be delish. Any suggestions???
I have been perfecting my meatballs over the past 2.5 years! I would love to know of any secrets anyone may have!
I am Sicilian and my cousin recently told me our great grandmother puts red wine in hers....interesting!
So I just purchased arugula for the first time...don't know much to do with it. I know you can eat it as a salad, or with pasta. good recipes much needed! :)
Does anyone know a good recipe for the tricolore cookie?? I am Sicilian and so is my best friend and it's her baby shower (her first son)....and wants these cookies but as a cake! any recipe would be greatly appreciated!! :)
