Hard Taco Shells: Yea or Nay?

I use tostadas shells instead of taco shells for crunch and less mess.... and I enjoy soft also. I want the best of both worlds!

Knife Skills: How to Prep a Cucumber

@ErisianSaint

I also like the seeds! So does my sister. You are not alone!

I like them sweet and sour, with salt and pepper, marinated in salad dressing any flavor. I've been known to save good pickle juice and add a sliced cuke to it and left to marinated a few days.Right now there is a good supply in Florida so I'm eating them every day. A cucumber sandwich with alfalfa sprouts yum! ;-)

Michigan Brand Cottage Cheese (small curd blue container)

Here's a link to I&K Distributors: http://www.ikdist.com/main.htm. They have a location in Huntington, West Virginia. You can try contacting this distributor who can help you or at least give you info to the company that makes Michigan Brand. Most products can be obtained these days due to cold shipping and the internet. They only problem being is the price they want. I'm originally from Michigan...now Florida, so I understand. Good luck on geting you fix. :-)

Paying for someone else's party?

I vote totalIy weird. I would make sure the host gets a copy of this so they don't make the same mistake again.

Your Favorite Grilled Cheese Sandwich

I like the basic but favor rye bread with cheddar or swiss or provo ...but what I want most with my gc is pickles..sliced dill pickles in between the slices of cheese so there is no sog.
@ getinmybelly I'm a BIG fan of the fried bologna sandwich. Most people think I'm nuts. I not sure if it's a regional thing or just was a different way to serve bologna when that all there was to eat. I'm ready for one right now :-)
