Is chocolate creme pie really the #3 most popular pie?
I've never heard of Chess Pie. What is it?

With the children on their own now, I still cook as I did for the 5 of us although it's only two of us now. That way I freeze the extra and always have dinner for days I don't feel like cooking or have time to cook.
Anything with dark chocolate especially dark chocolate covered marshmallow.
My Mom's chicken soup and a filet mignon with bernaise sauce.
When stressed I crave chocolate or a salty snack such as chips.
cauliflower with bread crumbs and butter topping.
Mmmm...Chocolate Cream Pie. Now there's a tasty treat. Deeeelicious. I want some. Now.
Although, it is 2nd to my ALL TIME FAVE: Boston Cream Pie. There is nothing better than a slice of Boston Cream Pie. Seriously. If you've never had one-you should change that. God it's good.
I'm sorry I didn't hear you past the word "chocolate."
:)
I've seen lots of cream pies growing up, I haven't had that many--we used to fill a graham cracker prebaked crust with chocolate pudding, and I guess you could top it with whipped cream, which I don't like
I've had some great chocolate mousse pies, topped with chocolate shavings--I'm not a big fan of fruit pies, too sweet, usually.
Really, I'd always pick cake over pie, so my favorite would probably be Tollhouse Cookie Pie. Served warm.
I think it was #2 while I was in high school. #1 was Snicker's Pie.
As an adult, I have a fondness for real Key Lime Pie and Dutch Apple Pie.
I adore chocolate, but I've never even seen chocolate cream pie. I'm guessing it's a regional favorite somewhere? Coconut cream pie and banana cream pie are two top favorites of mine.
Ew, chocolate creme pie. I'll take apple, berry, lemon meringue, key lime, peach or almost anything over that.
Is chocolate creme pie like chocolate MOUSSE pie? Cause THAT I can get behind. Chocolate creme doesn't sound very appetizing though, kind of like pudding in a crust.
I can't believe that either. If anything, I'd think it would be at the bottom of the chart...or perhaps above lemon meringue, if it was limited to those pies listed. I'm also surprised that banana creme pie isn't listed, as someone mentioned on that post.
Lilikoi pies are pretty good, but not very easy to find even in Hawaii. :P
That, I can believe.
I like chocolate cream pie, but I'd still pick a warm slice of apple with a dollop of ice cream over it any day. mmmm tastes like hope
I have eaten more than a few chocolate creme pies but I wouldn't choose it over my favorites
Fudge Pecan, Pecan, Apple, Coconut Meringue (my mother made the best in the world).
We used to have a craft booth at a church festival every year. They sold slices of pie. Their best seller was Buttermilk pie which sounds similar to the Chess pie. Boy, was it good.
Rhubarb and gooseberry are 2nd and 3rd; blackberry is my #1.
