Once at a little hole in the wall place in San Francisco I had a freshly toasted onion bagel, cream cheese on one side, some sort of light horseradish creme fraiche on the other.......inside was medium rare warm roast beef and thinly sliced avocado and purple onion. It was just heavenly.
