Pizzablogger: The oven was made by Acunto. I went to the restaurant twice and the pies had exactly the same crusts. And I'd say exceptional is an accurate word to describe the pizza. The Pepe's Yonkers outpost is about ten minutes south on the same street, if that tips the scales in favor of traveling to the NYC burbs for pizza.
Jim: The oven takes up a corner of the dining room - if you're not easily embarrassed you can crane your neck and/or stroll over to watch. On the nights I went (weeknights, restaurant a quarter full), they had one guy doing everything.
