One of my favorites is from Everyday Food. I think the main dish was chicken, but the lemon-parmesan rice is just so delicious!

I would have to say this is a tie....
either the time I tried to bake chocolate chip cookies when I was in high school to impress my boyfriend... I couldn't figure out why the top of the cookie burnt, but the bottom was raw... I left the oven on pre-heat instead of bake. I also once forgot to take the cardboard off the bottom of a frozen pizza and it caught on fire! I'm happy to say that I've improved my cooking skills since then.

Weekend Madness: Win an Autographed Copy of 'United States of Arugula'

I first tried arugula about 8 years ago, I think my aunt served it in a salad. Now, I can't get enough of it. I recently made a great polenta recipe with arugula and parmesan cheese, delicious!

I had a delicious blackened grouper in Clearwater, FL. So fresh that I could actually see the boat bringing them in!

TOMATOES! But only when they're in season. Nothing beats a tomato fresh from the garden, still warm from the sun, sliced with a tiny bit of sea salt sprinkled on it. Double points if the tomato is an heirloom!

A veggie tray is my new chocolate. I have absolutely fallen in love with raw veggies. My favorite meal is stir-fry. I also enjoy a big salad with as many veggies as I can find depending on the season. Thanks for the contest. I would enjoy winning the prize, because it would open up a whole new world for me with veggies.

I love mashed potatoes. I worked at a restaurant about 15 years ago, and at that time, they had a recipe for their mashed potatoes that I loved. Cream cheese, sour cream and onions combine with mashed baked potatoes. Delicious! I try to incorporate them into many of my meals. YUM!
