hello. i have been to this restaurant called "The Jefferson Diner" in Jefferson Township. It is off of route 10 i believe near Lake Hopatcong. dont know if your familiar with that area. anyway, it is not German, but it is Greek family owned. Its not your familiar diner food though, great restaurant quality dishes with fair prices and great quality. go hungry!!
