What are your favorite omelet mix-ins?

I make what I like to call "Meat-Lovers on Crack" omelettes. It's pretty much a combination of any kind of meat you can think of. My favorites are Sausage, bacon, hamburger, ham, and turkey bits. My dad likes his with Kilbasa added to his. Summer sausage is good, also. Anyway, if it's considered a meat, it's in there. Add cheese, some onion, and a little salt and pepper, and you're good to go!

Also: theres this stuff my parents used to make, and I don't remember what it's called. They make it whe Scrambled eggs, salsa, cheese, sausage and bacon, all wrapped in a soft-shell tortilla. I'll post again when I find out the name of it.

Would you rather give up chocolate or cheese?

I like cheese and all, but as a woman, I have to have my monthly dose of chocolate. Am I right, ladies? Cheese doesn't make you feel all happy and endorphan-ish. But alas, I am only one person.

Crab meat! Take your cream cheese, then top it with a layer of crab meat, then cocktail sauce

We have it every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is simply delicious.

What dish have you had to force down with a smile?

My mother makes Beef Stroganoff, and she uses beef tips that are frozen.
The meat is tough and I'm also not a big fan of mushrooms, so yeah. It's not my favorite meal, but I eat it just to make my mother happy.

My mom makes this wicked delicious appetizer called a torta. You raid your local deli section to get some different spreads like olive tapanade or pepper spread or pesto and layer them with cream cheese, and top it with pine nuts. Mom makes hers with pesto and red pepers and she'll mix in feta for good touch and people are always begging her to bring it to parties

I made a rolled omelet this morning! It had chickpeas, tahini, hot sauce, and arugula. So delicious. I also love any omelet with onions in it, regardless of what else is in there.

Chocolate - poof gone. Although I do have an occasional weakness for REALLY good dark chocolate. The chocolate that is so dark that light itself can not escape. Of course you can only eat centimeter by centimeter squares of the stuff at a time... so I guess it wouldn't be too bad to give it up.

I'm a bit of a bore when it comes to omelettes. I think adding too much often makes the whole affair a bit sloppy and flat. Having said that, I do love both:

Pesto & broccoli and
Cumin & sweet onions.

I'm allergic to chocolate, so I already gave it up.

Just so all the chocolate lovers know, there is a threat of chocolate going extinct. Because of it's global semi-addictive popularity, the need for the plants to grow in very particular soil and atmospheric conditions, that only exists in very limited places on the planet, and it's being overfarmed it could go bye-bye in our life time since the nutrients are being unsustainably depleted.
