I just roasted my first chicken the other week! All I managed to do was put it in the dutch oven and throw it in the oven ... but it was good! (It wasn't pretty, but it was good.)

Taste Test: Veggie Burgers

@ Claudia K -- I never had the Morningstar corndogs, so I don't know how this stacks up in comparison, but last week my Trader Joe's was handing out samples of TJ-brand soy corndogs, and I thought it was pretty tasty. You might want to check it out, if you're so inclined.

Taste Test: Veggie Burgers

I am a dedicated veggie burger consumer -- I eat them probably about three times a week. (I love them atop salad greens for lunch.) Sunshine Burgers are far and away my favorite! I also enjoy Morningstar's Black Bean Burgers and Garden Veggie Patties, as well as Gardenburger's Chipotle Burgers. (I've never been cared much for the Dr. Praegger's California Burger or the Trader Joe's Masala Burger that others have mentioned; both of them fall apart on me.)

Critic-Turned-Cook Finds Critical Eating Habit Hard to Break

I don't usually give a second chance. I live in NYC; I don't have enough time to give all the places that I want to eat a FIRST chance! (I'll make an exception if it's a veg*n friendly place, though ... )

If I have a bad experience, I do post it on Yelp. I'm not malicious; I just state what my problem was with the meal. I figure my one review won't stop someone from going there, but it might steer them in the direction of a different entree ... one that might be better.
