Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: Korin Knife

My favorite knife is a very old sashimi knife that once belonged to my grandmother. I am guessing, but it is probably about 100 years old! Each time I use it I think of all the food it has prepared during it's lifetime.

Just a touch of cream (or milk) & the slightest amount of sugar. Both amounts have been reduced as I have aged. I guess I'm finally growing up!

Our 8 Favorite Milkshakes in the Bay Area

I've only tried one of the eight listed but the milk shakes at Rick's Rather Rich in Palo Alto deserve a mention. Rick's makes their ice cream on site in small batches using cream from local dairies. I'm lactose intolerant but I still have to get a shake from Rick's now & then. They are that good.
