I Love this place - my first visit was in 1967 with a classmate from Xavier HS. Took my daughters there this summer and they immediately (and they have excellent pizza genes) declared it the Favorite. Was planning to go next NY visit end of the month - I'll just have to wait. It's my favorite.

I think the first time I went there was for a classmate's birthday party when I was seven or eight years old. Thank god it survived (the fire I mean; the party wasn't that wild)

Awful news about the fire. Obviously great news it's reopening! We've been meaning to go...I'm glad this won't end up on our "list of great places we missed."
