Video: The Craigie On Main Burger
How much do they charge for that sucker? Hopefully less than the entrees' price on their site. Would I get tossed out for asking them to hold the pepper and ketchup? If I really want to taste beef, I don't like them getting in the way. Then again, I suppose I could always just go twice.

Bottom Shelf Beer: Tyskie and Zywiec Polish Lagers
New Orleans should be a destination for any food blogger. If you won't go for a bachelor part, go for your honeymoon. One meal there and you will realize it was worth it. I've done both a trip with a dozen guys, and another with the girlfriend, both times staying constantly full of fried chicken and jambalaya. Enjoy the rare opportunity to walk from bar to bar, from band to band, with the same beer in your hand.

Brighton, MA: Ringing in Chinese New Year at Joyful Garden
I've driven by hundreds of times and wondered why there was a Chinese restaurant of all things in that hotel. Makes it all seem like even more of a dive. I thought of eating there a few times, but never did. I will have to consider it again soon.
That ginger lobster looks just like the similar twin ginger lobster I had in Chinatown a few months ago, and was hands down the best lobster I've ever had.
Home Slice: All-Edge Sicilian Pan Pizza (with a Nod to Detroit)
I swear, Serious Eats has fits of genius more often than Thomas Edison!
I need one of these and then attempt to recreate my favorite northeast-PA pizza.
Poll: "How Saucy Do You Like It?"
Not that I have a preference to the overall amount of sauce, but it's more about ratio. And most seem to get it wrong. There should be more sauce than cheese. Maybe it's a result of growing up eating New Haven pizza, but to this day, even on a lower-quality delivery pie, I get much more pleasure out of the slices that have a good inch or two of "just sauce" before the crust. This of course depends on the pizza having a good pizza sauce to begin with, sweet and sharp!
Burger Day 4 in Chicago: High Brow, Low Brow, and Delicious
Chicago Cut was recommended to me after I mentioned to a local my displeasure that my previous favorite Chicago Chop House had quadrupled their previously relatively affordable prices since I left Chicago. The burger sure looks good. Sadly their web site doesn't list steak prices. I will keep them in mind when I return this summer. (Any recommendations for chicago steak in the $35-40 range?)
New Orleans: Get a Steamer on Bourbon Street at Clover Grill
I had a burger there last time I was in NO, I remember the service being exceptionally slow, but the people watching kept us very entertained while we waited.
Poll: Eggplant on Pizza, Way or No Way?
Absolutely. Skin should be removed, eggplant should be sliced thin, pressed, and lightly fried. I used to order it all the time back home (from Red Tomato pizza in Madison CT)
Fast Food: KFC Big Value Box
While I have found KFC's original fried chicken deplorable around Boston, memories from childhood told me it could be better; last year I stopped off the highway out in New Hampshire and the fried chicken was wonderful, properly juicy, white, crispy, and tasty. I bet it all comes down to how it is handled and cooked...city KFCs need more TLC.
Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: La Quercia's Cured Meat Experience
By itself...perhaps with a good cheese plate.
Poll: What's Your Slice Per Person Ratio?
This topic repeatedly burns me whenever I'm somewhere when people order delivery. I always eat at least 4, and drives me nuts when I'm just getting started and it's run out, or I do get my fill but feel bad because I clearly took more. Half a large per person is my method. Then people call me crazy. But seriously, all you will end up with is extra pizza! And you know that will be gone after a few more beers.
First Look: Tiffani Faison's Sweet Cheeks BBQ

Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: Southside Market Sausage, Chicken, and Steaks
The original Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse is still my favorite.
12 Days of Christmas Beer: Goose Island Mild Winter
You shouldn't punish a beer maker (or yourself) just for being successful. It's about the product, and goose island has not changed their recipie since pulling in money from AB. Instead they have used it to expand distribution as well as fund their excellent big beers. I had mixed feelings at the beginning as well but I am thankful every time I get to enjoy my favorite Chicago beer here on the east coast. We need to remember to judge beer (and food for that matter) not by their size or wallet but by the final product.
Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: Zingerman's Praise the Lard Gift Box
Fondest pork memory? Must be the first time I was introduced to the wonderful combination of bacon and maple syrup with a tray of sticky bacon. Sweet and savory overload!
SE Staff Picks: Favorite Way to Eat Thanksgiving Leftovers?
Leftover cold turkey, salt, pepper, mayo, white bread: best sandwich of the year.
