She taught me how to make pie come out flakier than previously. I could always get my top crust to come out, but the bottom crust was always soft. Not I make a killer pie!

I am totally a Pumpkin Cheesecake lover. I used to buy the Cheesecake Factory's, but last year I attempted to make my own. It was good, but not sensational.

As for choosing one of the menus, I would prefer the classic. I still love Turkey with mashed potatoes, stuffing, homemade potato rolls, and gravy smothering all of it. And I love my father-in-law's yams. YUMMY!

Does Anyone Really Love Pumpkin Pie?

I laughed so hard at this blog, because my mom used to make me pumpkin pies for my birthday instead of cake, because I loved it so much. I still do. It is the BEST part of Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for me. I love pumpkin bars, pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin cheesecake. PLEASE DON'T GET RID OF PUMPKIN PIE!!!

My kids like the jello flag or a cake decorated as such. But for some reason, I always think of HOME MADE ICE CREAM on the 4th. Of course baked beans, barbecued meats, and corn on the cob rate up there too!

Serious Easter Artisanal Chocolate Egg Giveaway

Goodness, when I was a child, my favorite was probably the malted milk/chocolate easter eggs, like by whoppers. However, over the last 20 years my children and I have a tradition of making Resurrection Rolls for breakfast. So I would have to say that is our absolute favorite now...but we still LOVE chocolate.
