Scenes From the 2013 Serious Eats Cookie Swap

This looks like the best party ever. You should raffel a guest invitation next year or as a website prize.

Blueberry Financiers

I made these and they are amazing. I might have used too many blueberries for mini muffins, so I had extra batter. Do not overfill the mini muffin tins because it just spills over into a mess. This recipe is really simple and you could make them in the morning. They are a 1-2 bite treat.

Spanish-Style Cod in Chorizo-Tomato Broth

I made this this past weekend. I found the spanish dry style chorizo next to the spanish cheeses in the deli section. Our fish guy takes the skin off the cod, and it still worked with this recipe. There was plenty of sauce left over, so I recommend serving with plain rice. This dish is very similar to the Portuguese Fisherman's Stew at Legal Seafoods, which is one of the best filling+value:healthy calories items on their menu.

Italian Easy: Farro Salad with Lentils, Beans and Oven Roasted Vegetables

12 cups?!!! what about people who don't have Duggar-sized families?

Ask The Pastry Chef: What to Eat At Sarabeth's, NYC

I love SaraBeth's preserves. If you are visiting NYC, I recommend going on the Chelsea Market food tour, where you will taste a sample of these products! I was lucky enough to find the $12 bottles of preserves at TJMaxx Homegoods and I cleared the shelves of all the jars, which is a steal at $6.99. I would still pay $12 because it is worth it! here is the food our link, I highly recommend the 10:30 Friday tour guide! http://www.foodsofny.com/chelseamarket.php

San Diego: Towering Stuffed Burgers at Hash House a Go Go

I've been here! They also had a BLT Bloodymary! it was made with BACON infused vodka, and it is served with a bacon, tomatoe, bread and mayo garnish! I made a BLT sandwich with my bloody! this Bloodymary is a must!

Any Cocktail recipes with Mahia, a spirit made with Figs?

I recently impulsively purchased a bottle of Mahia at the packie. I sampled it at the instore tasting and liked it, but I bought it without looking at the $38 price tag. Yikes $$! Now I can't find any cocktail recipes for it! It was like better than tequila, with a good aftertaste. Any ideas? Here is their website:
