You missed Bishop's Orchard's in Guilford, CT. Sure I'm biased. Try them anyway.

I eat a lot of the same things every day, and it's all pretty healthy unless I'm snacking on things when I'm working or my sister made muffins/ice cream or we go out to eat or something. haha
- A LOT of yogurt, low or nonfat, greek is my favorite
- veggies, usually raw
-tons of fruit. I mean tonssss
-oatmeal, nuts, popcorn, other cereal (god I love cereal too much)
-turkey, tuna, shrimp, etc
-hummus and bread, tho I try to limit the bread. key words being TRY....
-cottage cheese
I use way too much ketchup, on almost everything, but you know, it could be way worse.

This morning breakfast was a large amount of low fat greek yogurt with some frozen blueberries and some raw oats sprinkled on top.... and of course an iced coffee with soy milk.
I tend to use a little more sweetener (truvia or splenda or whatever) than i'd like, but all in all I think I eat really healthily.

In mah mouf. Repeat until stuffed to bursting. Don't mess with my fruit, I hate pies and cooked stuff with fruit.
Fresh, cold, crunchy, a tad unripe fruit-- love.

No mayo. On any burger. Gross. I'm all for mustard and pickles, ketchup too if I'm in the mood. :)

I have an 11-cup one, and that makes a huge differences, especially when making huge smoothies :)
I think my old cuisinart would have lasted a lot longer than it did, bt it went thr a house fire. it might have worked, but the cleaning company lost part of it, so we'll never know. haha

Next thing on my wishlist: VitaMix. My work has one, and it PULVERIZES ice and the smoothies are superssmooth. love.

I work at a cafe/used bookstore in New Haven, CT (if you go to NH often you'll know it, it's the only such combo there).

I don't know that there is a signature dish per se, as there is a plethora of ever-changing dishes and yummy baked goods, but the sandwiches are pretty constant aside from the specials....

The most popular one there is called the "Tempesto" (yes, most of our sandwiches are named after literary works :) ) and is pesto, balsamic vinagrette, fresh mozzerella, and tomatoes on ciabbata. yum!
Other popular ones are the "Jane Rare" (roast beef, goat cheese, horseradish mayo, field greens on ciabatta), and the BLT (apple smoked bacon, horseradish mayo, romaine, tomatoes, on toasted sourdough).

When I was a little girl, I was obsessed with frozen peas and frozen shoepeg corn.
So good.
Looking back now, that must have made my mom very happy. haha
