Bubbles, although I savored the glowing review resulting from your most recent experience at Isabella's (wordsmithery worthy of a NYTimes D&W appearance), consistency is the key to greatness. One for two doesn't make the grade when I'm spending my hard-earned cash in search of the perfect pie. I think another visit (at a minimum) is needed to even consider inclusion in the Top 10. Otherwise, your recommendation is a little slim, shady.

Dude, I'm ready to blow just reading about your recent travels and could never hang with you! Did someone roll you home after all of this was done? It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it, and I'm glad it's you DJB. I do have to disagree with your take on Ben's in SoHo. It is a good change of pace for me, as I like a heavier crust now and then (and I love the knots there too)!
