I grew up directly across the street from Charlies Pool Room. I remember going there as a child, to this day its not only a craving to have, but a necessity. I know when you live so close to a hot dog joint its easy to say they're the best. Over the past 20 years I still can't find a better dog. Being on 3 annual hot dog tours, eating over 50 varietys of hot dogs across Jersey and P.A., still no one comes close.We actually had to eliminate C.P.R. from the tour just to give other joints a chance. Now living across the river im about 15 min. away, yet I still have to go and grab dogs atleast once a month to cure my craving. I will always hear people say, "naaa you gota try this place I know...Best dogs ever." Problem hearing that is, 99% of "those" people have'nt tried Charlies.
