I'm going to visit my parents in Naples. If there is one place to eat, something affordable but great at the same time, where is it?
So at the last minute I have been told its a snow day so now that I am home will be shoveling.
I have a pork sirloin probably about 2 pounds or so that is frozen and has been in the freezer for a pretty good time so will take hours to thaw out. Is it possible to just throw it in the slow cooker frozen while I go shovel people out?

So I unexpectedly need to make a cake or a dessert for thanksgiving. I only have Better N Eggs right now. Since I don't usually have eggs on hand, can I use this in a recipe? It says made from real eggs...

Hi, Im a 25 year old guy. I have never been a big drinker mostly because I don't like the taste of most alcoholic drinks and can't understand how people like the taste of beer. I like sweeter things but don't want to be in a bar with a girly drink. Any reccomendations for any alcoholic drinks that fit the category of 1.) Not a really expensive drink, 2.)not a calorie bomb drink like a white russian 3.) something most places can make

So yesterday I had a little oven fire. It went out but the top inside is still black and I figured Id run the self cleaning cycle since I've never done this anyway. Anything special I should know. Once it is done is there anything Inshould do to finish cleaning it? Wipe it down?
So the Monopoly game is back. While I dont frequent Mcds eniugh to really get TOO wxcited about it I enjoy hearing other peoples experience. Plus the game may entice me to stop and get that drink or iced coffee I may have gotten across the street.

This started a good debate on a blog I read and while we may not be all about fast food it was interesting. What are some fast food mistakes you encountered? Who are the worst offenders. My post on that blog was as follows
"For me when I go to fast food places, it is almost always because I want something very specific. Therefore there is nothing that upsets me more with fast food than when they are out of something or can not make something. I never go at odd times so they should be stocked. Mostly since I love McDonalds IceCream their machine seems to be down at many locations quite a bit. Burger King has also been out of cones quite a few times during their 50 cent promotion
Also, I don't go to burger king much but when I do I usually get a Whopper but sub the meat patty for a veggie patty and ask for no mayo. After getting through the confusion that I want a veggie patty but everything else with the whopper and not the "veggie burger" (they need to yell this to the kitchen because apparently there is no substitue patty button) Almost always I get my burger and there is mayo. By this point I just say what the hell and scrape it off which usually results in scraping lettuce too, but what the heck"

I am trying to come up with something mildly craetive for and easy dessert. I have refridgerated tollhouse cookie dough. I was thinking of cutting thin circles out of it. Putting some dark chocolate peanut butter in the middle then topping with another thin circle of cookie dough and baking. Would this work?
I am thinking of making bay scallop piccata becuase I can't think of anything else to make with them besides pasta dishes or baked scallops that I am kind of tired of and don't want to go buy a ton of ingredients.

Starbucks announced plans on Sunday to roll out their version of the Big Gulp: the new, massive, 31-ounce cup size called the "Trenta." (Trenta means "thirty" in Italian.) It will only be available for iced coffee and tea drinks, at $.50 more than a Venti. The rollout begins this week in 14 states, and will go nationwide by May 3.
