Have to say the finale format for this season and last is a real kill-joy after another wonderful season. The challenge supposedly is to cook the best 3-course meal you can, but then they run the silly clock and the judges taste everything on top of everything. Economical no doubt for BRAVO, but hardly seems like we are seeing any of the finalists at their best, nor do I trust any judge who is swilling their way through 12 courses from three different chefs and trying to evaluate continuity, flavor, progression and execution for each individual finalist. This format is a complete let-down. Will BRAVO ever go back to the finale formats of Season's 1-3?
While I'm sure Hosea cooked a couple of tasty dishes here tonight, does anyone truly believe he is the Top Chef of the season with so few challenge wins throughout the season and generally lackluster performance?
