What would you eat if you couldn't chew for a week?

Mostly Asian:
- Rice Congee. Flavoured with chicken soup is my personal favourite.
- Pho. Bring your own kitchen scissors to cut the noodles. You'll have to stick to plain though.
- Fried turnip cake. With XO sauce (er.. maybe not with your throat healing). Again, scissors.
- Dun dan
- Savoury cream of wheat. I basically mix in an egg white, a table spoon of beef bovril and chuck the yolk in after so it's nice and runny. I actually didn't know it was meant to be eaten sweet until much later in life....
- Panna cotta! Om nom nom nom.

Montreal! Where to eat?

Went for about five days in March, but our absolute fave place was Le Club Chasse Et Peche. My sister who went two weeks ago also felt that that was her best meal over her weekend as well.

I chronicled my Montreal eats and it covers bakeries, pastries, fine dining, poutine, maple taffy and a sugar shack.

Toronto cheap eats

@lexophile I haven't tried Mission Burrito, but I do love Manpuku (also in the Grange at Dundas & McCaul). They have comfort Japanese like Udon and Curry Pork Rice. Can eat for around +/-$5, but all pretty tasty.
