I downloaded the game last night on my Wii. It was ok. It's pretty crude...there's a lot of burping and farting goin on. I only got thru the first challenge (I think we were eating hamburgers? maybe baked potatoes?). I couldn't beat the burrito king in the second challenge. I DID always win the burp-off, though. :) Anyway, it's an ok game. I doubt I'll spend a ton of time on it. I'm only a single blogger, but I'll challenge you guys!
cottage ham and string beans with my grandparents, at my house.
This looks horrible and the sound of it doesn't. Try McDonald's chicken on a bisquit, it's fantastic.
worldcupfever, you made me laugh out loud.
All these recent abominations introduced at DD are from Executive Chef/Director of Culinary Development Stan Frankenthaler, of the late, great Salamander restaurant in Cambridge, MA. Lo, how the mighty have fallen!
the part that makes me mad about this, too, is that you can't get the egg white omelet on any other type of bread. no croissant, no english muffin, no bagel. why? i'm assuming because this egg is triangle shaped, to fit the flatbread. guess what? i don't care if it hangs over the edge, just please... let me have it on a croissant! the flatbread tastes like cardboard. i think the egg white part itself is fine, though i've only had the veggie not the turkey.
I gave the turkey sausage one a try recently and what annoyed me the most (besides the cardboardy bread) was that when I got it home there wasn't even any cheese on it. Not that the extra dairy would've necessarily helped the sandwich much.
Erin - I also like having a Sausage and Egg McMuffin before big exams! I had one before the ethics exam I had to take to qualify for the state bar. Woo!
I laughed at the tv when I saw those abominations. You want a little fat in the morning. It's better for you than the corn syrup.
I'm obsessed with breakfast sandwiches, and thought the new DD egg white one was pretty good -- and only 6g of fat, plus some small amount of veggies to boot. My impression may have been tainted by the fact that I had a Panera egg souffle thing the day before; I checked when I got to the office, and that thing had 32g of fat; yeesh!
Tying back to the other home page thread, the egg sandwiches at flour bakery are awesome, and worth every calorie!
the photos alone makes me sad. the innards look like...just yuck.
i'd rather eat a donut and run a mile.
