About: hi! I am a 30 year old gal from Massachusetts working in the fashion industry. I enjoy power yoga, crafting (paper crafting, knitting & sewing), various sports (baseball/football), being outdoors, great food, movies, music, & life itself.

Favorite foods: Definitely barbeque food is #1 on my list (ribs, pulled pork, chicken, etc), crabcakes, pizza, Mexican/American food such as tacos, burritos, etc, Pho, General Gau's Chicken...yum i am getting hungry now!

Dinner Tonight: Indian-Style Broccoli with Spiced Yogurt

Thank you for this veggie-based recipe! My boyfriend and I "try" (not very hard i must admit) to incorporate veggies into our dinners & meals, but it's so hard for us. I have Crohn's disease and have trouble digesting many veggies (especially leafy ones) and he is just not a big veggie fan. Adding interest, like the spices in this recipe, tempts me into trying it! Thanks again!!!

I start every morning off with my Kashi Heart-to-Heart Oatmeal. It provides fiber from the oats, antioxidants, such a green & white tea and grape seed and is low in sodium, which promotes a healthy blood pressure.

Also, when given the choice, i choose brown rice over white, and whole grain bread also over white bread.

sweet sweet quinoa (although technically that's a seed, and not a grain. so if i were being technical, i'd say the humble yet delicious brown rice)
