Pike Place Market in Seattle
El Puerco Lloron (The Crying Pig), on the steps rising from the waterfront up to the Market, looks like a total dive, with its metal tables and chairs and odd baskets hanging from the ceiling, but this award-winning hole-in-the-wall serves fantastic, authentic Mexican dishes at amazing prizes ($6-9 a dish). A cold beer and a choice of their many salsas, and you will be smiling, not crying, your way throught the market

TJ's BBQ Teryaki Chicken in the frozen foods aisle is so quick and easy, and as good, if not better, than any teryaki you will pick up at the ubiquitous teryaki joints in the Puget Sound area! I buy 5 or six bags per visit...if only I had a TJ's closer to home!
