Cook the Book: 'Serve Yourself'

When dining solo I prefer pizza (if I'm eating out), or scrambled eggs with pulled pork, spinach and cheese (if making for myself),

Hervé This' Chocolate 'Chantilly'

I'm wondering about the hand mixer comment and what happens when it warms back up (if anything)

Cook the Book: '660 Curries' by Raghavan Iyer

Like a number of others, it's hard to pinpoint my first experience with Indian food. With curries, in general, however my first experience was likely in Great Britain when I was there in college. Been eating it often ever since (one of my favorite was a "curry" that the this South African couple / surrogate grandparents would make when they invited me over for dinner in my later college days).

Cook the Book: Crepas Salguero

Made the dulce last night... YUM! FWIW, popping a lid on the pot makes it ridiculously easy to maintain a low simmer with this... I added exactly ZERO water over the course of 4 hours.

Mine turned out about the consistency of pudding (and was delicious spread on the 100% whole wheat beer bread I also tried for the first time). I think, next time, I'll go a little less time and aim for more saucy consistency.
