Indeed, I cried also. If Damon's blog had its own RSS feed he'd have more readers than Steingarten, Trillin and Reichl combined. I like mine rare to quite rare and that last burger pic scares even me a little.

Damon, great post. I'm with you on the ketchup. One wonder's if Bill's antipathy to ketchup is general or hamburger-specific--if it is not for a hamburger, what DOES he put it on?

great review Damon, and as I can attest, a great burger. The only problem I have with the build your own burger model is that my gluttonous side too often wins out and I end up with an odd gallimaufry of toppings that, while individually delightful, do not go well together. Sorry to hear about the guinness shake, I was intrigued.
