I had some fresh thyme lying around, so I used that instead of parsley. Mushrooms, olive oil, and salt are great by themselves, but this adds some nice aroma.
Of course, now I'm craving a steak and a nice wine too. Too bad I didn't win the Peter Luger's porterhouses:(
The fillet portion of a porterhouse. It just tastes better when cooked on the bone.
Porterhouse for two, medium rare, Morton's of Stamford. It's even better if someone's there to share it with me, but not absolutely necessary.
Creamed spinach, sauteed mushrooms, and plenty of booze.
Picayune, Ms. Stonewall's and Fat Boy's both BBQ places suck. I perfer to cook on my own pit.

My hubbie and I were traveling from DC to Atlanta once, and pulled off the side of the road somewhere in North Carolina. That vinegar-barbecue was the best I've ever had!
