I was there at the same time as you guys yesterday. My friend who I was with looked over and said "Hey! is that Bill Clinton sitting there?!?" I looked over and said, "Naw, I think that's Ed Levine." Kind of a great moment.
The burgers sure were great! But we got there two minutes too late for the free custard, alas.

and do they have any sort of speciality shakes (i'm expecting a lot from a place with the word shake in its name, although those burgers look delish)? there's a place I used to work near that did amazing peach shakes for only 2 weeks a year.
The best thing about working in the Flatiron. (No offense to former colleagues!) You could monitor the line from your cube and dart out at the optimal moment.
