I presume puff pastry is not kosher for passover, correct? Does anyone have a passover-friendly substitute suggestion so that I can make a tarte tatin for my family? I have a relative with a severe nut allergy, so almond flour is out of the question.
Thanks!
Hi,
I just did something very foolish. I went to the bulk food store to fill up my new spice rack, and of course forgot to label anything. While my novice nose was able to identify the majority, there are three that I cannot distinguish based on site and smell alone: cardamom, coriander and garam masala (and yes, I do realize that the garam masala likely contains both cardamom and coriander). Any tips for how to tell them apart?
Thanks,
Emily

CT-style Rawley's works dog, charred until it's black, wooooo!!!! I can't tell you how happy I was to see Rawley's on that list. I didn't even know I liked hot dogs until I tried theirs. NY Kosher and Chicago are tied for second.
