Well-raised meat, to me, is either hunted (elk, antelope, deer), or humanely-raised in a pasture or other natural environment, on a diet that the animal would have eaten in the wild.

While I personally won't support WalMart by shopping there, like Boner, I applaud their effort to get "local" out to the average consumer that frowns on eating anything that doesn't come out of a package.

I could not agree more with what shasta said. I wouldn't make a habit of buying them because I prefer local and fresh, but in a pinch, why not? And if someone who won't normally eat veggies or fruit picks some up because of Paula Deen, then mission accomplished.
